As the Production Supervisor, in this newly created role, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of the Burnie site. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure seamless operational performance, team leadership, and alignment with strategic goals across safety, production, financial management, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Leadership & Strategy Champion and embed Pentarch’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Develop performance objectives that align with the regional operational plan. Recommend and support initiatives to improve operations and meet strategic targets. Build and maintain strong internal and external operational relationships. Operational & Financial Management Manage site operations within defined operational cost targets. Maintain production efficiency, stock control, and quality standards. Implement corrective actions when performance varies beyond expectations. Customer & Supplier Engagement Oversee chip production, storage, and transport to meet customer requirements. Monitor the value chain to ensure alignment with supplier capabilities and customer needs. Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) obligations and contractor performance. Process & Compliance Oversight Coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure logs are received, processed, and stored as per plan. Ensure equipment is maintained and safe for use in collaboration with Maintenance. Manage inventory, quality checks, and participate in audit programs. Close out incidents and audit outcomes promptly and thoroughly. People Leadership & Culture Lead a culture of safety, performance, and accountability. Manage recruitment, training, induction, and development of site staff. Ensure compliance with industrial relations and safety legislation. Promote a high-integrity, safety-first working environment. Strong operational, financial, and people management skills. Knowledge of safety management systems, compliance, and audit processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
