ROBAR Personnel is looking for a driven and organised Junior Administration & Recruitment Assistant to support our internal team. This is the perfect role for someone early in their career who has strong Excel skills, thrives in structured environments, and enjoys taking ownership of their work. You’ll work under the guidance of an experienced Administration Manager, gaining hands-on experience and learning across a range of business functions, with full support and mentorship. What You’ll Do: As part of our recruitment and administration team, you’ll help keep the business running smoothly by: Reporting to the Administration Manager for task planning and support Assisting with recruitment administration (job ads, applicant tracking, interview coordination) Supporting onboarding and compliance documentation Booking travel and accommodation for project and site staff Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and reports using Excel Providing general office support and handling incoming enquiries Assisting with payroll or accounts data entry (if experienced) Working independently while contributing to team deadlines Contributing to the improvement of internal systems and administrative processes to support long-term efficiency and scalability What We’re Looking For: We value attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn over formal experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills – confident with spreadsheets, formatting, and formulas Self-driven and autonomous – able to manage time and stay organised without constant supervision Clear and professional communication Strong attention to detail and task ownership Willingness to learn and contribute to a growing team Previous office, recruitment, or customer service experience is helpful (casual/part-time included) Knowledge of the construction industry or recruitment processes is a bonus Experience with logistics or travel arrangements is a plus Any exposure to accounting, invoicing, or payroll systems is an advantage Previous exposure to a wide variety of digital platforms and generally tech savvy is a benefit Why Join Us?
