We're seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's team in Kalgoorlie, WA . This is a permanent full-time role , offering excellent pay, stable hours, and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of light commercial vehicles. ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Corefleet assets and external customer vehicles within the light commercial category. From servicing and repairs to mine site fit-outs and breakdown support, you'll play a vital role in keeping the fleet running safely and efficiently. ON OFFER: $50 per hour super. Permanent full-time role (40 hours per week). Monday-Friday roster. Secure long-term opportunity in Kalgoorlie. Supportive workshop environment. Key Responsibilities: Service and repair vehicles to company and OEM standards. Conduct pre-rental and post-rental inspections. Complete mine site vehicle fit-outs and compliance checks. Attend breakdowns, deliver and collect vehicles as required. Accurately complete job cards, including parts and labour records. Maintain mechanical productivity at benchmark levels. Uphold workshop presentation and fleet mechanical standards. Report hazards and incidents in line with WHS procedures. Maintain workshop tools and equipment. Contribute to team meetings and branch objectives. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential: Trade qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics. Manual driver's licence (C Class). Proven experience in servicing and repairing light commercial vehicles. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Customer-focused and safety-conscious attitude. Preferred: MR class licence. Forklift licence. Experience with diesel engines, heavy vehicles, mobile plant, tyres, windscreens, electrical, or air-conditioning systems.
