Pub in Hawkesbury NSW region is now seeking applications for a Chef reporting into management. This full time salary position requires the availability, for the successful candidate, to work across a 7-day roster including weekdays and nights, weekends, split shifts and public holidays. $75-80k, no late nights, and relatively early finishes, generally 9:30pm. Duties include but are not limited to: Food preparation and presentation. Ensuring expectations of service are consistently met. Catering for functions such as parties for up to 30 people. Ensuring menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed. Assist with ordering for kitchen and regular stocktake processes. Maintaining a clean, compliant and efficient kitchen. Essential Requirements include: Trade qualification and Food Safety Supervisor certification preferred. Demonstrated experience in a similar role - café, bistro, tavern or hotel. Passion for cooking, presenting and serving fantastic food. Food stock control and ordering knowledge. Excellent time management and communication skills.
