Position Description: Clinical Responsibilities As a medical practitioner, provide high quality clinical health services for patients in accordance with best practice and RACGP guidelines Provide after hours, on call services as rostered if applicable. Inspecting and updating patients’ charts. Diagnosing common ailment such as colds, flu and diabetes. Administering medication topically, orally and via intravenous or intramuscular injections. Prescribing apt medications and lifestyle alterations. Collecting samples and sending these to laboratories for further testing. Anticipating and responding to patients’ wellness-related questions and concerns. Administering or prescribing appropriate treatment.
