My client - a well-established ASX 200 organisation - is seeking a hands-on delivery leader to drive the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation as part of their major upgrade from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA. About the Role In this pivotal role, you'll lead the successful execution of P2P-related workstreams, including: Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Vendor Invoice Automation You’ll work closely with both internal delivery teams and a global System Integrator , ensuring alignment across streams, managing dependencies, and keeping everything on track - from discovery to hypercare. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, and the confidence to influence business, technical, and vendor stakeholders alike. You’ll report to the Transformation Program Director and collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Finance, Procurement, Legal, Commercial, and Digital Services. What You’ll Bring 5 years of project/program management experience, ideally with successful delivery of Source-to-Pay or Procurement initiatives Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in matrixed environments Experience delivering vendor-led programs Strong grasp of integration and technical delivery requirements Excellent communication, governance, and commercial acumen Bonus Points For Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, SpendConsole (not essential) Domain expertise in Procure-to-Pay , including contract lifecycle, purchasing, goods receipting, and invoice processing Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Leadership: Own full delivery lifecycle across all P2P phases — discovery, design, build, test, cutover, hypercare Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business leads to support design, testing, and change readiness SI & Vendor Oversight: Act as the day-to-day interface for the System Integrator; manage deliverables, risks, and dependencies Governance & Reporting: Maintain RAID logs, report to project and steering committees, and ensure quality standards are met Cutover & Hypercare: Support business readiness and seamless go-live with minimal disruption Work Environment Hybrid working model: 3 days per week in the Sydney office Daily rate contract: $1100–$1200 incl. super Initial 12-month contract with strong likelihood of extension The Ideal Candidate You’re a proactive, collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.
