Forklift & EWP Operators – Avocado Harvest Season Location: Blackbutt, QLD Duration: 2–3 months (seasonal casual) Pay Rate: $30.35–$31.19 per hour Staff360 is recruiting skilled and motivated candidates to join our client’s avocado operation for the upcoming harvest season. These roles offer full-time hours across a 2–3 month period, with the potential for ongoing farmhand work once harvest is complete. Both positions are suitable for Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) holders , and days worked can count towards regional visa requirements. Positions Available Forklift Operator – Pack Shed Operate forklifts to load, move, and stack produce. Assist in the pack shed with grading, packing, and palletising avocados. Support broader harvest operations, including picking and general farm duties. Uphold strict safety and quality standards. Requirements: Current forklift licence. Own transport and valid driver’s licence. Australian work experience with two local references. Flexibility to assist across different harvest tasks. Pay: $31.19 per hour EWP Operator – Orchard Harvest Pick avocados at height using a cherry picker/EWP. Inspect and handle fruit to quality standards. Safely operate and maintain machinery. Transport harvested avocados to collection points. Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness. Requirements: Previous fruit picking experience (avocados preferred). Comfortable working at heights and operating EWPs (no licence required). Physically fit with strong attention to detail. Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle. Pay: $30.35 per hour General Conditions Seasonal casual employment – hours vary with crop and weather (10–12 hr days, Mon–Sat when conditions allow). Accommodation not provided on site.
