In this role, you'll provide a broad scope of general practice nursing services, including immunisations, wound management, health assessments, pathology collection, chronic disease management, and preventative screening. You'll also contribute to patient recalls, accreditation requirements, and health promotion activities within a community-focused environment. You'll receive a solid orientation, but we're looking for someone who can hit the ground sprinting and make an immediate impact. About the Opportunity As a Practice Nurse, you will: Provide clinical support to GPs, including immunisations, wound care, pathology, and ECGs. Assist with recalls, 715 Health Assessments, GP management plans, and team care arrangements. Maintain compliance with RACGP accreditation standards Support chronic disease management, health promotion, and patient education. Ensure accurate documentation, stock control, and safe equipment management. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care. Skills and Experience Essential Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated knowledge of general practice nursing. Experience in immunisations, wound care, pathology, and chronic disease management. Current QLD Driver's Licence, Blue Card, First Aid/CPR, and National Police Check. Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Desirable QLD Nurse Immuniser qualification. Familiarity with Medical Director or PIRS software. Knowledge of RACGP accreditation standards. Previous experience in Aboriginal health or rural practice.
