Who we are looking for We have an ongoing full-time position for a Development Services Officer, based in Warrnambool. This position comes with a generous salary of $76,134 to $87,789 p.a. plus superannuation. As a Development Services Officer you will assist with requests related to water and sewer servicing of new land and property developments as well as minor trade waste and backflow. Job Description What you'll be doing On a day-to-day basis, you'll: Provide support in preparing responses to council and developers for development and subdivision referrals. Provide input into the review of water supply and sewerage designs, construction standards, standard drawings, specifications and other relevant functions. Process water connections, sewer connections, roof water connections and fire service connections. Assist and respond to requests related to water and sewer servicing enquiries, private water and sewer agreements, build-over agreements and other utility works. Desired Skills and Experience What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone with Relevant water industry or public sector experience and demonstrated professional capabilities A background in technical / design / planning / engineering or construction is desirable but not essential. The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with confidence. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
