Job Description Part-time maintenance person 16 hours per week 4 days per week (4 hours per day) We seek self-motivated applicants, who possess good communication skills and can work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Ensure building systems and machines run smoothly e.g. air conditioning, pumps Undertake repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings e.g. replacing locks, windows & light bulbs, patching holes, woodwork repairs Perform routine maintenance of equipment Estimate repair costs and document repairs undertaken Handle, store, and distribute goods/materials Move equipment/furniture as required Upkeep school grounds e.g. mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, disposing of litter Assist with school improvements e.g. fencing, paving, gardening projects Complete daily grounds maintenance reports Train new employees in groundskeeping duties Drive school vehicles as required.
