Position Highlights Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (flexible hours considered) Remuneration: AUD $403,602 – $504,547 generous allowances (motor vehicle, professional development, retention & attraction) Classification: L18–L27 Closing Date: 26 August 2025 Key Responsibilities Deliver timely, efficient, and high-quality Anatomical Pathology diagnostic and consultation services Participate in frozen section services, MDTs (onsite and remote), and after-hours on-call roster Maintain high professional standards and objectivity in clinical practice Support training, teaching, research, and quality assurance initiatives Essential Criteria Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA Demonstrated expertise in Anatomical Pathology and commitment to clinical excellence Familiarity with ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements International Applicants Welcome We encourage applications from internationally trained pathologists with comparable qualifications (e.g. FRCPath, FCAP) who are eligible for registration in Australia.
