Open early every day, we’re the perfect stop for breakfast on the go, a relaxed lunch, or a quick and tasty dinner. We are looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures Planning menus as per restaurant`s requirements including dishes like traditional Bolognese lasagna, baked potatoes, meat roast, butter chicken, etc. Estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies accordingly Discussing food preparation issues with managers and all other relevant staff Preparing and cooking food according to hygiene regulations Responsible for freezing and preserving foods Train the cooks and/or new staff as required. Any other relevant duty as directed by management. What Skills and Knowledge do I need? Relevant trade qualifications Relevant experience of 3 years or more may replace formal qualification requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
