About the organisation: Our client is a Community Services organisation that assists people and communities by offering pathways to employment, whilst helping individuals adjust to changing employment conditions. Through state government funded employment services, vocational education and training, this not-for-profit organisation works with the long term unemployed, and tailors training and support to individual needs and local circumstances. About the opportunity: Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position will support team across Dubbo (and surrounding areas), OR Bathurst/Orange (and surrounding areas). This role has been introduced to improve staff capability and consistency, The Performance Coach will work alongside Team Leaders to support onboarding and deliver program-specific training to Employment Consultants. A key part of the role will involve coaching staff to be the best version of themselves and helping reduce the training load on Team Leaders. The position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities and is purely a support and coaching function. Candidates with prior experience as a successful Employment Consultant or Team Leader are encouraged to apply. While formal training experience is desirable, it is not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key to success in this role. The base salary is very competitive and includes tax incentives through salary packaging, and access to a site vehicle for business travel. To be successful you should have: Current or previous Employment Services experience - DES, Jobactive, Workforce Australia, TTW, ParentsNext or similar; A results and outcomes focused approach with proven success in meeting revenue targets, KPIs, and increased levels of performance; Ability to support and inspire others; Strategies for success and Local labour market knowledge; Able to use initiative, work autonomously and communicate effectively across all levels; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; A current Drivers Licence and the ability to travel to dispersed sites as necessary; and The ability to pass a Federal Police Check and obtain a Working with Children Check.
