Maintenance Electrician – Afternoon Shift Loading Shift Allowance Super - Food Manufacturing - West Melbourne A global leader in food manufacturing with a strong presence in Australia is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team on the afternoon shift at their advanced production facility in West Melbourne . This is a full-time, permanent role working within a highly automated production environment, where you’ll play a key role in keeping the site running safely and efficiently. What You’ll Be Doing Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on motors, control panels, and other electrical systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults to minimise downtime Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings Carrying out safety inspections and ensuring all equipment meets compliance standards Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work completed What We’re Looking For A qualified Electrician with a current A Grade licence Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (food/FMCG ideal) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Able to interpret technical drawings and manuals A team player with good communication and safety-first mindset Able to work afternoon shift on a permanent basis What’s On Offer Competitive hourly rate plus shift loading and allowances Stable full-time role with long-term career opportunities Supportive and safety-focused team environment Ongoing training and development Work with state-of-the-art equipment and systems
