We’re currently seeking expressions of interest for an experienced and reliable FIFO Bus Driver to transport employees and contractors to and from a remote mining site in Western Australia. In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely transport of passengers, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the bus to ensure a comfortable journey for all. This role is FIFO from Perth only. Responsibilities: Transport employees and contractors to and from the remote mining site, following a set schedule and route. Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, ensuring that it is in a safe and roadworthy condition. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger numbers. Report any defects or issues with the bus to the relevant authorities, and ensure that repairs and maintenance are carried out promptly. Communicate effectively with passengers and other stakeholders, including supervisors and mine managers. Follow all relevant policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, environmental, and quality standards. Maintain a clean and tidy bus, including the removal of rubbish and the cleaning of seats and windows. Requirements: Rio Tinto induction advantageous A current Australian HR or HC driver's license. PTD certified (essential) A minimum of 2 years' experience as a bus driver, preferably in a FIFO or remote location. Good driving record with no serious driving offences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Sound knowledge of health and safety, environmental, and quality standards. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight schedules. Flexibility to work in a remote location on a FIFO basis. A current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one. A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one. This advertisement is an EOI only.
