The Business and Executive Support Officer (BESO) provides executive support, general administration and operational support services for the Finance areas of Procurement, Operations and Transformation Services (Operations) and FSEA. Your key responsibilities will be: providing proactive support to assist the management of executive commitments diary management, working with complex competing priorities secretariat support to procurement committees, coordination, document preparation and minute taking programme administration (eg.file management) for continuous improvement projects knowledge management support raising PO’s, receipting and ensuring invoice payments supporting recruitment and onboarding of new staff and contractors handling inbound enquiries from senior stakeholders and suppliers organising workshops, morning teas and team building events. About you passionate to support and enable excellence in a team environment attention to detail, curiosity and a willingness to learn come naturally to you experience working in a complex organisation (knowledge of the higher education sector desirable) experience in administration support, dealing with confidential and sensitive information strong organisational skills / experienced with diary management, often with senior stakeholders highly proficient in MS Office, you will be able to produce professional PowerPoint presentations, utilise Excel for basic data manipulation, list management, confident in Word for report writing and document creation using style guides provided file management / knowledge management capability desirable (eg MS SharePoint) able to produce clear minutes and secretariat support to various committees familiarity with finance systems, purchase orders and invoice processes desirable able to come on campus a minimum of 3 days per week.
