We’re currently hiring for the following positions: Cook (Casual) Kitchen Hand (Casual) What You’ll Be Doing Cook: As a Cook, you'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Pre-service kitchen preparation. Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Ensure all dishes are served on time and meet presentation guidelines. Preparation of all ingredients and menu items Maintaining food safety, WHS and HACCAP standards Responsible for ensuring the kitchen is always a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. Assume some responsibility of all kitchen duties, ordering and compliance. Kitchen Hand: Preparing sandwiches, wraps, and other items according to recipes and presentation standards. Clean and maintain general kitchen areas, including dishwashing and waste management. Unpack and sign off deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and packed away properly. Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in line with food safety and hygiene regulations. Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked food preparation area. Serving customers efficiently and courteously. Working as part of a team to meet daily service targets and standards. The Successful Candidate To be considered for these roles, you must display the following: For the Kitchen Hand role, minimum 1 year of hospitality experience in a Kitchen Hand or Sandwich Hand role For the Cook role, minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene. Physically capable of lifting and moving stock.
