Full time opportunity, fixed term until Dec 2026 Lead strategic marketing and communications, driving impact through campaigns, digital content, events, and team leadership Base Salary $146,197 - $154,260 17% superannuation About the opportunity We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Senior Specialist to play a key role in shaping the University's reputation and engagement by leading strategic marketing and communications initiatives across student recruitment, research, alumni relations, and external outreach. Working closely with stakeholders in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, you'll ensure all communications are integrated, brand-aligned, and tailored to diverse audiences. From developing campaigns and managing digital content to coordinating multimedia assets and overseeing a small team, this role offers variety and impact. You'll stay ahead of industry trends, support major events, and deputise for the Head of Marketing and Communications (Health and Science), contributing to a high-performing, collaborative environment. About you Experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing and communications campaigns in a large and complex, multi-faceted organisation Excellent communication skills across stakeholder engagement, brand messaging, public speaking, facilitation, negotiation, social media management, and promotional campaigns Experience editing copy written by others to ensure a publication, print or online, is of a standard that meets editorial requirements and objectives Experience using a content management system, ideally Adobe suite Experience using social and digital media to reach and engage target audiences Project management experience; an ability to lead a collaborative approach to address complex matters Ability to provide leadership to staff and to work effectively as a member of a team Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
