As the Supervisor in our Access team, you will lead, manage, and develop a collaborative and highly effective team and provide higher technical expertise to support complex application and case management. You will also develop and implement innovative demand management strategies to ensure the NHVR delivers a cost-effective service to its customers, the heavy vehicle industry, and our government partners. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include: Oversee and manage the permit application process ensuring that they are progressed in a timely and efficient manner Mentor and support the professional development of your team members to ensure that they become a collaborative and highly effective unit Employ effective performance management strategies to reinforce and deliver a highly effective team Perform general supervisory and team management tasks such as workload management and allocation, leave management, issues reporting, and resolution where required Build and maintain working relationships with industry representatives, customers, and government partners to ensure an effective and continuous sharing of information is possible Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting on the achievement of KPI, objectives, and targets as directed Provide specialised and detailed advice to customers in regard to the application process, vehicle standards, and regulatory requirements Deliver exceptional customer orientated service to all external and internal stakeholders and customers Ensure confidential information is handled and dealt with in accordance with the relevant legislated and/or corporate policy requirements Develop and deliver process improvements and innovative demand management strategies\ For further information regarding the role responsibilities along with the required skills and capabilities, please refer to the attached position description.
