The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to join our energy team. ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER This is an excellent office-based opportunity with a chance to visit all project sites. The Senior Environmental Advisor is responsible for supporting the bid and project delivery of New Energy projects nationally, following UGL’s environmental management system to ensure environmental risks are minimized and opportunities maximized Your duties and responsibilities will include: Support environmental planning by helping develop and implement management plans, procedures, and tools aligned with company systems. Oversee daily environmental tasks based on project risk levels, ensuring smooth operations and compliance. Provide technical advice and assist with securing environmental approvals during bids and project phases. Promote environmental awareness and build capability across project teams through guidance and collaboration. Coordinate monitoring and reporting, including sustainability metrics, site inspections, and incident investigations. Engage with stakeholders such as project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain strong environmental standards. Your skills and experience\: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Management or a related discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction or renewable energy sectors Strong understanding of environmental legislation and approval processes Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook Proactively look to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies Please note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
