Summary This Melbourne-based aged care provider, operating several residential homes, is dedicated to delivering exceptional and personalised care through strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. They are now seeking a Nursing Educator to design, implement, and lead the organisation’s clinical education program - a pivotal role with the opportunity to shape how learning and development is delivered across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver clinical education programs to nursing and care teams. Provide mentorship and hands-on training to support staff development. Oversee new staff orientation and induction programs, ensuring clinical competency. Assist with managing the Online Learning Platform, including content review and administration. Ensure care delivery aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements. Support quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics. Collaborate with Home Managers, Clinical Coordinators, and the Leadership Team to enhance education strategies. Participate in sub-committees, including the Clinical Governance Committee. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration. CERT IV in Training & Assessment (desirable). Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in aged care or healthcare. Experience in delivering clinical education, training, or mentoring. Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to design, implement, and assess training programs. A passion for aged care and continuous improvement.
