The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Okta Solutions Engineer to join a large organisation in Brisbane. This is a pivotal role where you will design, configure, and implement Okta solutions that underpin global operations. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary team, consolidating tenants, improving security controls, and delivering seamless identity and access management solutions to thousands of users worldwide. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with business insight, providing best-practice guidance while solving complex identity challenges. You’ll be instrumental in setting global standards for Okta application integrations, ensuring risk is managed, and knowledge is shared across the business. What You’ll Bring 3 years of hands-on experience in Okta administration and implementation, including Identity Cloud, Adaptive Authentication, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management; Proven ability to design and deliver identity solutions across multiple regions, with strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP; Experience integrating Okta with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments and HRIS systems (Workday); and Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional (OCP) ; and Experience in SaaS deployments, application programming. This is a contract role that will initailly be set up for 12 months. You can be based anywhere in Australia & will need to have full working rights.
