Family and Community Wellbeing services consist of two programs that work together to provide a range of program, activities, and experiences to promote wellbeing and positive family functioning. The Children and Parenting program provides early intervention and preventative services and programs, specifically targeting at risk populations, using a whole of family approach to resource, educate, support and skill parents to improve developmental and wellbeing outcomes for children and families. The Family Mental Health Support Service program provides a practical whole of family assistance to improve the long-term outcomes for vulnerable children and young people up to the age of 18, at risk of, or affected by, mental illness and their family and carers. About the Role The Project Officer is responsible for providing program development and implementation support in order for the program to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus on developing systematic approaches to parent education and the measurement of participant outcomes. The ability to build staff capacity to meet program requirements of diverse, place-based teams is of vital importance to this role. What we are looking for Relevant formal qualification and experience in a similar role Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and case note writing At least 5 years' experience group facilitation of evidence based groups - eg. Tuning into Kids and Circle of Security Extensive experience in program planning and evaluation and reporting, including the identification and application of outcome measurement tools.
