As Theatre Operations Manager of the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the vision, direction, and delivery of one of the region’s premier performance and entertainment venues. This role is all about inspiring a passionate team, driving innovation, and ensuring the community and visitors alike enjoy exceptional entertainment experiences. From coordinating diverse programs and events to overseeing seamless venue operations, you will play a pivotal background role in creating unforgettable moments for your community. About You Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in arts, culture, events, or a related field. Proven strategic and operational leadership within arts and cultural services, with a track record of driving successful outcomes. Strong financial acumen and management capabilities, including budget development and resource planning. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring a high-quality experience for all users and partners. Eligible for a Queensland Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Blue Card. Responsible Management of Licensed Venue Training desirable. Eligible to be appointed as an Approved Manager under the Liquor Act desirable. Sound knowledge of Council's functions and procedures and/or Local Government experience desirable.
