Job Description ETL (Informatica) Lead About our client: Our client is a leader in professional services and consulting, providing a wide range of services including strategy, consulting, technology and systems integration, and operations to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Utilities and more. About the role: An opportunity exists for an ETL Lead (Informatica) to work with one of their Big 4 Banking clients, based in Sydney where you will support data migration, integration, and quality initiatives within the program. Key Skills & Experience 5 years’ experience with ETL tools (Informatica IICS/IDMC, PowerCenter). Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, SQL, RDBMS, and DWH/BI frameworks. Hands-on with performance tuning, UNIX environments, and Control-M scheduling. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Experience in large-scale data migration programs (incl. archive/purge). Preferred: exposure to retail or business banking data models. Key Responsibilities Perform data migration and integration using Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) & PowerCenter. Design, implement, and document mappings, workflows, and reusable Informatica assets. Analyse data quality issues, recommend remediation, and support source-to-target mapping. Write SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning. Develop shell scripts for automation and orchestration. Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to deliver accurate, secure data solutions. What's on offer?
