Our Geophysics department is based in our Sydney office, situated in North Ryde. The team of five works on projects throughout Australia, predominantly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. To meet growing project demands, the team is seeking an experienced geophysicist with extensive expertise in geotechnical consultancy. You must possess proven experience in managing geophysical projects from start to finish, as well as training and developing junior staff. Were looking for someone confident in their ability to hit the ground running and contribute to the teams growth. This position can be based in Sydney or Brisbane. You must be able to travel and maintain a high level of physical capacity to perform strenuous fieldwork tasks. What You'll Need 5 years of experience as a geophysicist in a consultancy environment Proven ability in leading projects from start to finish, including client communication and business development A Geology, Geophysicsor Earth Science Degree Ability to complete strenuous fieldwork tasks Ability to travel when required A full Australian drivers license A valid visa with full working rights for Australia A desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil and geology Good interpersonal skills Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written What You'll Get Additional Day Leave on Birthday Provision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to professional body International consultancy with a strong project pipeline Flexibility and autonomy Unfortunately, we are not considering international candidates who do not hold working rights in Australia.
