Land Command, Control, Communications & Computer Systems (LC4S) Branch is conducting a bulk recruitment round for highly motivated and skilled APS 6 Communications Engineers. As an Engineering Professional, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers to provide detailed engineering, technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work and contribute to program and project management. In doing so, you will have knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision making and Defence's mission and policy requirements. You will be responsible for exercising assigned engineering authorities within the Land Worthiness framework. LC4S is looking to fill several vacant positions across the Branch. This is an exciting opportunity for your role to support the Branch's vision of delivering reliable, robust Command, Control, Communications and Computing (C4) capabilities to ADF. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). Experience in assessment of technical and design packages, provide recommendations and contribute to the implementation of actions. High-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders.
