The primary role of Industry Education and Outreach is to engage with AUSTRAC's reporting entities to promote understanding of the AML/CTF Act and associated financial crime risks. As the Multimedia Education Officer, you will support the development and delivery of engaging, accessible education content across a variety of platforms. Working under the guidance of the Specialist, you will assist with planning, and producing high-quality digital education products that meet audience needs, accessibility requirements, and government standards. As the Multimedia Education Specialist, you will lead the design, filming, editing, and delivery of engaging and accessible education products, such as videos, animations, and podcasts. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team in close collaboration with subject matter experts. You will be responsible for ensuring multimedia products meet audience needs, accessibility requirements, and government standards. Working with subject matter experts to assist in scoping, storyboarding and preparing multimedia content that meets learning objectives. Contributing to the coordination of small tasks or components of larger projects, including tracking timelines and maintaining documentation. Applying multimedia and accessibility to ensure content quality and consistency. Assisting in the review and evaluation of digital products and helping identify areas for improvement. Ensuring brand, style and accessibility guidelines are applied appropriately across multimedia content. The Multimedia Education Specialist , under general direction from the Manager, is responsible for: Designing, recording, filming, editing and producing high-quality, user-centred, and accessible education products based on content or scripts provided by subject matter experts, for use by external audiences. Providing specialist advice on multimedia design, along with technical and creative input to support the pre-production process. Completing post-production tasks, including audio and video editing, motion graphics, colour grading, media encoding, and platform delivery. Managing technical production requirements, including the operation of microphones and cameras, lighting setup, and sound recording. Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, collaborating with subject matter experts to gather feedback and refine materials. Ensuring all content is consistent with AUSTRAC's Brand Guide and complies with Australian Government policies and accessibility standards.
