What's the role? As a Digital Sport Producer, you’ll be a core member of News Sport’s digital team, helping to drive the evolution of our brands into the next phase of digital storytelling. A passionate sports enthusiast, you’ll work as part of a tight-knit, agile and flexible team across a range of News Corp Australia’s brands, including Code Sports and our State and community mastheads. This role plays a key part in supporting News Corp’s strategic focus on digital growth and innovation. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling visual stories that engage audiences across Australia and around the world. Drawing on content from our national sports newsroom, you’ll write, edit and produce high-quality written, video and visual pieces that highlight the strength of our journalism and our commitment to accurate, impactful storytelling. Your work will support mastheads in driving subscriber growth and deepening audience engagement. In this role, you’ll use your creative flair to craft memorable, engaging stories that combine powerful images, dynamic video and sharp text. Working with content produced by some of the country’s best journalists, photographers and videographers, you’ll bring your own ideas and originality to the table. You’ll also harness the power of social media to share, source and interact with News Corp’s audiences on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Create compelling and engaging stories through strong storyboarding skills and visual storytelling Identify the essence of a story and adapt content from an article into social media posts and other formats Use photo editing skills to grab relevant video clips and images from our video and image sources Introduce new and innovative ways to increase our social media footprint Have an understanding of analytics, translating results into insights to help drive better storytelling outcomes Continually explore new customer trends in social communication and interaction. Who are you? News writing and feature writing skills Ability to identify a killer hook, and write a headline to match The ability to create a narrative arc across multiple media assets Content planning according to audience behaviour Using data to adjust the content and strategy as needed Being creative within brand guidelines to tell stories that will captivate our audiences.
