The Role An exciting opportunity for an experienced Orderly to join our theatres at Cabrini Malvern We offer a supportive environment where the team work closely to achieve best patient outcomes and provide high standards of care. The applicant needs to be a caring person who is passionate about helping others, as a large focus of the orderly role involves patient transport and interaction. The Orderly role requires the successful candidate to be flexible in their working hours and have availability to work a seven-day roster. Key responsibilities include: Transporting patients, equipment and courier items around the hospital. Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff. Provide a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and staff. Contribute to the team, cooperate and communicate. Performs cleaning duties, waste management & maintains cleanliness of equipment. About you We are seeking preferably someone with previous experience as an orderly, or from a similar work environment, but not essential. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with initiative and energy to support the theatre environment. You will also have: Flexible working availability as will be scheduled over a 7-day roster. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to take direction.
