Your role includes delivering engaging presentations and pop-up events, building strong partnerships with schools and local organisations, managing social media and web content, and creating inclusive promotional materials. You’ll play a key role in raising awareness of local services and encouraging early help-seeking, all through a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approach. Key responsibilities include: Build awareness of headspace Armidale services and early help-seeking through presentations, pop-ups, and strategic partnerships with schools, TAFE, community services, and youth organisations. Manage content for the headspace Armidale social media platforms and local web presence in accordance with branding and engagement policies. Design and deliver interactive, age-appropriate community education sessions to promote mental health literacy and reduce stigma Tailor sessions for schools and communities to meet local needs, with a focus on priority groups. Skills And Experiences What you'll bring Demonstrated experience in community engagement, health promotion, or events in a youth or mental health context. Strong planning and coordination skills, with ability to manage competing priorities independently. High-level communication skills, including public speaking and professional presentation. Experience developing inclusive promotional materials using Canva, PowerPoint, or InDesign. Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, social media, digital systems). Emotional intelligence and ability to build respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders. Understanding of barriers faced by young people accessing support, including lived experience.
