A North Western VIC hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine from 15/09/2025 to 03/10/2025. SHIFTS: Emergency Department SMO – In Charge -Must have experience working in charge -Must have a currency in Advanced Life Support training -Must be Neonatal Resuscitation confident $2,200p/day standard rate On Call Shifts: -For general medicine admissions, escalations and emergencies (MET and Trauma calls, code blue ect.) -Hours: 0800-0800 (24hrs) -Daily rate is inclusive of on call shifts and recalls Roster: 1. Block 1: Mon 15th – Fri 19th September a. Mon 15th Sep: 0800-1800hrs b. Tues 16th – Thurs 18th: Off c. Fri 19th Sep: 1100-2100 non in charge & Medical On Call until 0800hrs Sat 20th Sept 2. Block 2: Tues 23rd – Thurs 25th September a. Tues 23rd – Wed 24th: 1330-2330 x 2 shifts b. Thurs 25th Sep: 0800-1800 3. Block 3: Thurs 25th – Sun 28th September a. Thurs 25th Sep: 1100-2100 non in charge & Medical On Call until 0800hrs Fri 26th Sept b. Fri 26th – Sun 28th Sep: 0800-1800 x 3 shifts 4. Block 4: Wed 1st – Fri 3rd October a. Wed 1st – Thurs 2nd Oct: 1330-2330 x 2 shifts b.
