As Head of Export, you’ll lead a multi-million dollar portfolio of R&D investments focused on market development, industry capability, and market access. You’ll collaborate with growers, industry leaders, and government to identify and prioritize opportunities that deliver value to levy payers. You will also: Build and maintain strong relationships across domestic and international stakeholders. Lead national initiatives like the Fresh and Secure Market Access (FASTA) program. Align trade and market access activities with Hort Innovation’s broader strategy. Provide expert advice to the Board, Executive, and our team members. Represent Hort Innovation in strategic consultations and investment procurement. What you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience. 5 years in the Australian horticultural export sector with strong industry and government networks. Proven leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Strategic and commercial mindset with a passion for innovation. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
