Our Society’s warehouse at Mitchell is the central hub for the receipt, sorting and distribution for our retail centres and the storage of materials, furniture and goods used to support people in the community. We are currently seeking a motivated Truck Driver with a current Australian medium class rigid (MR) drivers’ licence /Heavy Rigid (HR) licence to support the team at Mitchell warehouse. Our Truck Drivers are the face of Vinnies within the community and support our business to ensure we can assist those that require a hand up. As a Truck Driver at our Mitchell warehouse, you will play an essential role in our operations and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and pick up of goods and donations to and from members of the community and retail stores across Canberra and Goulburn Region. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our retail centres and support programs that help the most vulnerable in our community. Our Offer Permanent part-time position working 60.4 hours per fortnight across Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday Base hourly rate $30.45 $6.73 per hour license allowance 15% Super Increase your take home pay with our salary packaging option up to $15,900 per FBT year, with an additional Meals and Entertainment package available up to $2,650 per FBT year Health and Wellbeing with access to employer assistance program as our employees are our most valuable asset We are looking for individuals who are driven and have a passion for warehousing and logistics. Someone who is safety focused and hands-on in their approach. The successful candidate must have the availability to work on public holidays as required.
