Due to continued growth, we are seeking several reliable and experienced Custom Freight Handlers / Yard Operators to join their team in Laverton North. Dayshift Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm $37 plus per hour with overtime available Ongoing casual role with strong potential for full -time employment Based in Laverton North Immediate start Ongoing support and training provided Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your duties will include: Operating LF Counterbalance forklifts up to 16T Loading/unloading trucks, containers, and trailers with sensitive and oversized freight Handling manual tasks, including container packing/unpacking awkward or unconventional items Using pallet jacks, scanners, tablets, and warehouse apps Ensuring load restraint compliance and managing various forklift attachments Working outdoors with flat racks, open tops, and tautliners Performing general warehouse duties: repacking, relocating, stocktakes, yard maintenance Collaborating with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth operations To be considered for this position you will have: Current LF Forklift licence Minimum 12 months forklift experience Experience dealing with load restraint and manual handling Basic skills in warehouse technology (scanners, tablets, apps) Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and communication skills A positive, can-do attitude and proven reliability If you're ready to join a supportive team where your skills and work ethic are valued, we'd love to hear from you!
