Safety is our top priority, and with a focus on safety first, a proven record of safe driving is required. If you enjoy shift work, working on your own, multitasking, and have attention to detail, this role is for you! A commitment to exceptional customer service and communication is key, while also maintaining a positive outlook, being resilient, and having the ability to handle pressure. What do you need to become a tram driver? To be a Tram Driver you will: • Have full work rights within Australia (Australian citizen or permanent Resident) • Be medically fit to perform the functions of a Tram Driver. This includes basic mobility, hearing, and other health checks. • Obtain a minimum of 12 months driving experience in Victoria or Australia. • Commit to a comprehensive full time 6–10-week training program and a 6-month probation period (fully paid). • Be available to work full time 40 hours per week (5 days a week inclusive of weekends and public holidays) following a rotating roster. • Work early starts and late finishes. • Receive a Certificate III in Light Rail Driving upon successful completion of training.
