ABOUT THE ROLE: • Location: Prominant Government Building in West Perth • Full Time position • $92650 p/a • Level 5 Wilson Security is expanding in Perth, Western Australia securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of WA. This growth has created new roles within our WA team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region. Wilson Security is seeking a Security Manager to oversee a team of 13 officers.This is a full-time position under the SSIA framework. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee the Operational management of all personnel delivering services at the Corporate Facility. • Nominated First aider • Chief Fire Warden • Control Room Operations • Implement security directives and ensure compliance. • Reporting on daily / weekly / monthly basis • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and stakeholders. • Manager administrative tasks while meeting regulatory and contractual site KPI requirements. • Plan, organise and direct daily operational and administrative activities while introducing proactive measures to enhance security personnel performance. • Maintain and update site documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Skills Matrix’s, and Assignment Instructions. • Manage and oversee the performance and operational responsibilities of all allocated staffing while following internal escalation policies WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Previous management experience in a similar role including the Management of a small to medium sized team. • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security documentation (Standard Operating Procedures etc.) • A valid security license and first aid/CPR certification. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders. • Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in IT and computer systems including an intermediate level of Microsoft Office • A professional and well-presented demeanour at all times. • Certificate III in Security Operations (Leadership Course - CPP31318) is highly regarded. • A fully maintained vehicle is provided with the role Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
