Senior Workforce Planning Analyst Do work that matters CommBank’s Chief Operations Office (COO) is looking for a Senior Workforce Planning Analyst to join our Strategy and Risk (S&R) strategic workforce team. The Strategy and Risk (S&R) team within COO contributes to the strategy by providing leadership and governance on the COO’s strategic agenda, ensuring the health of all the programs in our portfolio, managing strategic workforce planning, as well as giving operational support to our customer-facing business counter parts. The Strategic Workforce Planning team is responsible for long- and short-term forecasting, scheduling, real-time support, WFM system maintenance and Future Workforce. The Role The Senior Workforce Planning Analyst analyses large data sets to identify trends and provide insights that guide business strategy. This role prepares and maintains workforce plans and forecasts, develops and implements workforce initiatives, and supports the COO’s objectives to ensure the bank operates efficiently. You will work with the Operational Leadership team to execute resource plans that meet customer and service needs, coordinating with SWP teams and Operations Leaders to modify plans as needed. On a day to day basis, you will: Collect and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns. Develop and implement analytical models and algorithms. Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings. Communicate analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Create visualisations and dashboards to help stakeholders understand data insights and develop and maintain databases and data infrastructure. Update and continuously improve the accuracy of the workforce models and related inputs (volumes, AHT, available FTE etc) to accurately forecast FTE requirements. Partner with business operations leaders to align workforce strategy, assumptions and plan. Work collaboratively to provide advice and guidance to ensure a strategic and consistent approach to driving workforce strategy in partnership with COO Operations Leadership and the broader Workforce Strategy team. We are interested in hearing from people who : Experience in workforce planning, using supply and demand models, workforce management and visualisation tools. Experience working with large or complex financial and/or workforce data sets to identity business opportunities Demonstrated business acumen in financial and budget management, with expertise in driving cultural change and continuous improvement to surpass customer and business targets. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Proficient in Workforce Planning Systems (i.e. Verint WFM), with relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience in statistics, mathematics, and workforce planning.
