Job Description Ability Action Australia's South West Sydney team are looking for Behaviour Support Practitioners of all experience and suitability levels . Whether you are just starting your Behaviour Support career or have suitability levels Core, Proficient or Advanced , we want to hear from you! Successful candidates will be providing supports to NDIS participants living in the South West Sydney Region. AAA Responsibilities will include: Supporting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners What's in it for you?
