The Role MQ Health is seeking a full time Senior Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, leadership and provision of high-quality physiotherapy services to patients within relevant Clinical Programs, including Cardiovascular and Respiratory, Critical Care and Primary Care. Using your clinical expertise, you will lead the delivery of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy services to inpatients of Macquarie University Hospital, and outpatients within the MQ Health Physiotherapy Clinic. The role includes supporting the coaching, training and development of current and future physiotherapist, assisting them as they undertake clinical placements and preparing professional development plans. You will have registration with AHPRA and be keen to use your extensive experience in physiotherapy services to promote quality processes within a team environment and provide exceptional service within inpatient and outpatient settings. To Apply To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the below requirements in your CV and a 1–2-page cover letter demonstrating: Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and general registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia/AHPRA . Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in the provision of physiotherapy services in the acute care setting, in particular in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and the intensive care environment Experience in outpatient cardiorespiratory settings, including cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Experience in a senior role within physiotherapy or a relevant clinical delivery setting. Experience providing clinical supervision and mentorship to staff and students in the relevant clinical areas Demonstrated commitment to physiotherapy education, training and research.
