Description The role: Uniform Shop Assistant. 1-year contract commencing ASAP. Part-Time c.0.6 FTE. Mon, Wed, Fri (7.30am-3.45pm). Works term-time only plus 1 week before Term 1 (39 weeks per year, total). Salary is averaged and paid across 52 weeks. Reports to the Business Manager. Key duties: Assist customers (students and families) with uniform selection and fitting. Process sales transactions using POS system. Maintain stock and manage appearance of shop/displays. Receive and unpack deliveries. Handle customer enquires in a professional and friendly manner. Support stock take and inventory management. Skills And Experiences The ideal candidate: Some demonstrated experience in a retail customer service role preferred (but not essential if you are naturally a confident, capable, and organised person who loves people!) Basic / everyday computer skills. Outgoing, bubbly personality with a warm and welcoming disposition. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to connect with all ages. Able to work independently with limited direction. A communicative and relational team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.
