This is a leadership position that focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care through advanced clinical practice, staff supervision, and compliance with aged care standards. Assist the Residential Manager in overseeing daily operations of the care home. Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and care staff. Ensure care is delivered in line with residents’ goals, preferences and assessed needs. Oversee care planning, assessments, case conferences, and AN-ACC documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant aged care legislation, regulations, and best practices. Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals to ensure holistic care delivery. Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of staff. Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in the clinical setting. What You’ll Bring Essential: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience in aged care. Strong understanding of clinical governance and aged care standards. Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed skills in time management, prioritisation, and decision-making. Computer literacy and proficiency in clinical documentation systems Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a current AFP check with an active NDIS application). Full working rights in Australia. Up-to-date influenza vaccination and willingness to comply with applicable health directives.
