Job Description As a Signalling Design Manager your impact will be in the management of the signalling design team across all phases of the project, providing technical services and acting as a subject matter expert for signalling design. You will be responsible for: Leading the signalling design team across all phases of the project, from concept through to detailed design and handover. Ensuring designs comply with applicable railway standards, codes, and safety regulations. Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and competency development for signalling engineers and designers. Reviewing and approving technical deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Coordinating and liaising with internal teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate design integration and resolution of technical issues. Working closely with the Project Managers to maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets for the signalling design function. Supporting project risk management by identifying design risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Contributing to business development and client engagement through technical expertise and market knowledge.
