Job Description The scheduler is a critical role for our supply chain based in Newport, Melbourne. In this role, you are accountable for the daily coordination of driver and fleet resources across a range of geographies. This dynamic role includes all aspects of scheduling including stock managing of customer sites, Fleet coordination, driver management and customer interaction. Aligned with the customers we serve this role is not your usual Monday to Friday. The role will be one of 2 scheduling roles which will cover 7 days per week on a planned roster offering a great balance of time away from work. Key tasks include: Ensuring Fleet operations are conducted in alignment with company and Industry HSSE expectations. Driver and Fleet Resource planning Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders on schedules High internal communication, liaising directly with drivers, customer and depot staff regular updates and feedback to our customer and internal stakeholders Delivering Value to the business through the optimising of fleet schedules and use of resources Problem solving, thinking outside the square and providing potential solutions to aid and close unplanned schedule or truck availability changes.
