About the Role The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead the design and delivery of BDO’s enterprise-wide digital and technology strategy. This pivotal role will drive capability and provide strategic leadership across IT governance, enterprise architecture, vendor management, business application and solutions, infrastructure, and service delivery—supporting business growth and enabling digital transformation. Partnering closely with Executive leaders and key stakeholders, the CIO will embed governance frameworks, champion effective risk management, identify and adopt emerging technologies, and deliver enterprise-wide transformation aligned with BDO’s strategic goals. Key responsibilities include: Leading the enterprise architecture strategy to ensure architectural coherence. Overseeing IT infrastructure, service management and enterprise business application and platforms to ensure operational excellence. Championing innovation through emerging technologies, including AI adoption and management. Establishing and maintaining robust IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Managing strategic vendor relationships and supplier performance. Driving operational planning and program management for large-scale digital initiatives. Providing strategic leadership and coaching to the IT leadership team to foster performance and engagement. Overseeing the effective management of the national IT budget Providing business acumen across contract management, governance and resource planning. About You You are an accomplished ICT leader with extensive experience in complex and/or large enterprise environments and evidenced experience in building capability and leading through change. You bring a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide digital transformation and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, service management, project delivery, and business applications. You are well-versed in emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and digital platforms. Your ability to engage at the Executive level and influence strategic outcomes is essential, as is your experience leading and building high-performing, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
