Hope Community Services Ltd is looking for passionate and committed Residential Support Workers to join our Youth Bail House team in Kununurra . This role supports young people involved with the justice system , providing structure, safety, and positive guidance within a residential setting. About the Role You will provide direct, day-to-day support and supervision to young people aged 10–17 who are on court-ordered bail, helping them build skills, stay safe, and work toward more positive futures. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24/7 care, supervision, and support in a residential setting Model appropriate behaviour and life skills Support case management plans and positive routines Respond to crises with a trauma-informed approach Document progress, incidents, and activities according to procedures Work collaboratively with Youth Justice, Police, and other community services Essential Criteria Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, or related field (Cert IV minimum preferred) Experience working with young people, ideally those with complex needs or justice involvement Strong communication and problem-solving skills Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) Valid driver’s licence Employment Package Award Classification: SCHADS Level 3 Salary: $86,372.40 per annum (inclusive of regional allowance) Location: Kununurra, WA – eligible for regional visa sponsorship Roster: Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holiday Why Work with HOPE?
