Our Information Management Team is currently seeking a hands-on Data Architect to join us. This role is responsible for leading the design, planning, and governance of our enterprise data platform. Actively contribute to implementations and ensure the strategic transformation of our reporting and integration landscape. You will shape our evolving needs for data systems and support current initiatives in the company. Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include: Permanent full-time Based in Victoria Park Hands-on position Key Responsibilities: Architect data platforms by designing, planning, and implementation (hands-on) of enterprise data solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and application integration platforms (iPaaS). Develop data governance by actively defining and implementing robust data quality frameworks, ensuring data integrity, effectiveness, scalability, security, and business alignment. Design data pipelines by managing the hands-on development and orchestration of ETL/ELT/Reverse ETL pipelines for batch and streaming data, overseeing the build of robust data warehouse architectures (e.g., Medallion, Star Schema). Design enterprise data integration points, focusing on patterns and secure data exchange, to champion DevSecOps practices for secure deployments, including version control, testing, and platform security Provide technical advice by, offering architectural guidance and contributing to technology selection Foster cohesive relationship with data engineers, conducting architectural reviews, and partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions. What you’ll bring: Relevant experience in data architecture or data engineering, preferably experience in organisations where data management is distributed Architecture experience with design patterns for modern reporting and application integration solutions Enterprise IT Knowledge: General knowledge of system administration, networking, and enterprise security best practices. Data Governance: Familiarity with Data Governance principles and practical experience in implementing frameworks (e.g., data lineage, metadata management, DMBOK). Desirable experiences: iPaaS solutions, Azure, Power BI, SSIS, SQL Server, Cognos Data Manager, Cognos BI, and an understanding of common enterprise business processes (Financial, Payroll, HR, Asset Management).
