About Your New Role The National Business Manager – Convenience is responsible for delivering strategic growth across the national convenience channel, leading major customers: 7-Eleven, Ampol, VIVA Energy, EG and BP. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll be a valuable member of the commercial leadership team, contributing to broader commercial and enterprise-wide initiatives. This role ensures alignment between National commercial strategies and in-store execution. You will set the agenda across your account portfolio and ensure that execution requirements are well translated and understood across a geographically dispersed field team to deliver excellence in retail activation and account growth. What will you be doing? Key Account Management & Revenue Growth – drive sustainable revenue growth through the strategic management of a customer base of National Convenience customers. Develop and implement a joint business plan with strategic customer partners, aligned with clear commercial targets and sustainability measures. Strategic Planning & Market intelligence – develop and execute strategic initiatives based on market insights and competitive analysis. Operational Excellence & Efficiency – ensure the efficient operations and processes that support business growth through the Commercial team. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration – build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to drive business success. Channel Strategy & Category Management – optimize and lead the Convenience channel strategy and category performance. About you You are a contemporary and commercial FMCG Senior NAM, NBM or Retail Category Manager with major Convenience exposure/proficiency looking to advance your career in a next generation business with a culture as healthy as the product and, the agility and tempo you’ve been craving. Minimum 10 years FMCG experience, ideally including time at National Business Management level or equivalent. Proven success in the account management of key customers within the Australian Convenience channel, driving execution through effective Joint Business Planning. Established account connections within Corporate Convenience groups, and the key internal stakeholders within them. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, allowing leadership cross functionally to drive the agenda of the Convenience channel and specific customer base. People management experience is preferred to feed into future expansion of this role, or other leadership roles within the organisation. Ability to travel nationally. Degree qualifications in an appropriate discipline are desirable. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
