Hastings Deering is on the lookout for a Condition Monitoring Fluid Analysis Advisor to join our team in Archerfield, Brisbane. This is a 12 month contract position (with possibility of going permanent), offering a flexible rotational roster spanning 38 hours per week, with opportunities for remote work. As a Fluid Analysis Advisor, you will: Conduct thorough fluid analysis and generate reports by reviewing laboratory results to assess the condition of industrial machinery and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable maintenance and operational strategies based on fluid analysis findings. Offer expert recommendations on lubrication, hydraulic fluids, coolants, and other pertinent fluids to optimize system performance and extend equipment lifespan. Monitor fluid trends, track changes, and identify potential issues before they escalate into costly problems. Oversee and manage fluid analysis databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained. About You A successful teammate will possess: Mechanical trade experience or a strong interest in datasets and a passion for fluid-containing mechanical systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills. The ability to work over a roster (please note that this role entails 38 hours per week, including two Saturdays per month).
