About the opportunity Westgold are currently on the lookout for a WHS Trainer (Underground) with a strong commitment to upholding safety standards. This role will be offered on a permanent 8:6 (Days) roster based out of our Cue: Big Bell Operations in the Murchison Region. The role includes Liaising with the Supervisors and trainees to plan and coordinate training and assessment activities, ensuring conformance with site requirements Development of retraining plans who do not achieve the require results during the assessment activities Facilitate various training sessions, including inductions, on-the-job-training and assessments Ensure assessment activities comply with the with the principles and rules of assessment Assess effectiveness of training (e.g. after incidents and accidents, performance improvement) Maintain and document training records accurately in INX InTuition Ensure all formal documents involved in training and assessment are current and completed correctly Ensure that appropriate induction training is completed Ensure that candidates complete all training requirements prior to undertaking assessment Ensuring all workers are competent based on appropriate education, training, skills and experience What do I need?
